Painted Cabinets
in Sonora California
These cabinets were originally a stained wood.
- First we masked and covered everything we didn't want paint to get
on.
- We cleaned and sanded all surfaces to prepare for paint.
- Then we put a special solution on them that de-glosses them so that
the paint will bond to the old lacquer.
- We applied a special bonding primer
- Hand sanded every inch of the cabinets again....
- Dusted them off
- Sprayed 2 coats of Kelly Moore Swiss Coffee Dura-Poxy.
- Detailed any imperfections by hand
- Cleaned everything up
They look and feel perfectly smooth with a soft glow that looks and
feels professional.
The wall color is: KM Wise Owl
The cabinet color is: KM Swiss Coffee
